Position Overview:
As an experienced React Native Developer, you will play a crucial role in our cross-functional team, collaborating closely with other developers, project managers, and quality assurance specialists in an Agile Scrum environment. You will be responsible for developing mobile applications using React Native, ensuring the highest level of performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- React Native Development (minimum 4 years): Utilize your expertise in React Native to design, develop, and deploy mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, project managers, and quality assurance specialists to deliver high-quality software solutions within the constraints of time and resources.
- Agile Development: Embrace Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, by actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure timely and iterative delivery of features.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address technical challenges in a proactive manner, finding innovative solutions to optimize performance, user experience, and maintainability of mobile applications.
- Code Quality and Best Practices: Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and industry guidelines to ensure code quality, maintainability, scalability, and security of mobile applications (build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms, leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms, experience with the terminal (git, npm, yarn, etc.)
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile development and propose improvements to enhance the development process and product quality (experience with managing state, using libraries like Redux. Extras are experience with TypeScript, JS testing libraries, such as Mocha and Jasmine).
- Communication (excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken): Maintain clear and open communication with team members, sharing progress updates, challenges, and insights to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in React Native development with a strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and related technologies.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum methodology, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Familiarity with mobile app development tools and frameworks, including Redux, GraphQL, Firebase, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Employment agreement of indefinite duration. Eligible candidate must be able to be legally employed in Croatia on full time basis.
- Position salaries are transparent to every team member. Preferably you are based in Split, Croatia but we’re also open to candidates within Croatia. For mid level positions, salary ranges from 2.000 EUR net monthly, depending on your level of expertise. By achieving the expected results, you will have a chance to move up the ladder.
